Blakroc
Som historien har visat gör sig rap och rock ett ganska dåligt team. Många har försökt - få har lyckats med enstaka låtar, ingen har lyckats med hela album. Vad det beror på kan vi spekulera kring. En sak är dock säker, Limp Bizkit misslyckades med att göra bra musik på grund av att de rakt igenom var värdelösa musiker utan något som helst sinne för innovation och känsla.
Den 27e november 2009 släpptes albumet Blakroc. En kollaboration mellan bluesrockarna The Black Keys och en handfull riktigt bra rappare, däribland The RZA, Mos Def, Jim Jones, Raekwon och Pharoahe Monch. Det hela översågs av Damon Dash, grundaren av Rocafella Records. Av någon anledning så lyckades detta projekt med vad ingen annan gjort tidigare - att skapa en jävligt fräsch mix av rap och rock. Det är helt otroligt, jag vet. Stort tack till Adrian som tipsade om det.
